There have also been some generous donations from local individual donors.  These funds have secured the future of the Club throughout next year, and enabled it to continue opening for two evenings each week.   The capital grants are to pay for musical instruments during next year, a potter’s wheel and kiln.

Club members will be providing music and hot mince pies for sale at the Christmas Lights Switch-on on Tuesday December 4th, and will hold a Disco in the Community Centre on Saturday December 15th 7.00pm to 11.00pm – admission children £1 and adults £1.50 – tuck shop, but adults bring their own beverages.

Some of the young people will be doing clearance on Wickham Common next spring.  Plans are being progressed to provide more dedicated accommodation at the Community Centre, but there is still an urgent need for a few more young or adult volunteers; professional training is available and a few enjoyable hours on a Wednesday or Thursday evening is all that is needed.  If you are interested please call in to have a look or ring one of the Committee.
