We have been very fortunate in getting some generous grants totalling £11,000 over the past two years from the Local Network Fund for both running expenses and equipment for the Youth Club. However because of changes in Government Policy on Youth Funding, these grants will stop completely later this year.
Wickham’s Youth 100 Club is then likely to be the main source of money to pay the Youth Club’s rent and running costs. Members undertake to contribute £20 a year and are entered in a draw to win a prize of £20 each month. More details are available from Michael Carter or Barrie Marson – if you would like to join now and help to continue the Youth Club’s good work in the Community, please print off, fill in and send the attached Standing Order Mandate to the Community Centre or to Barrie Marson.
